About Jacky Cheung
Jacky is an AHPRA registered psychologist with five years of post-graduate experience. He provides psychological treatment and assessments for children (ages 4+), adolescents, and adults, with or without mental health diagnoses.
One of Jacky’s key strengths is his ability to connect with clients and foster a safe, non-judgemental environment in therapy. He works collaboratively with clients to help them make meaningful changes through building relevant skills and helpful thinking patterns.
Jacky often incorporates mindfulness and distress tolerance skills in his therapy sessions, drawing from evidence-based approaches. His therapeutic style is warm and person-centred, ensuring clients feel heard and supported throughout their journey.
Having worked as a psychologist in Hong Kong for over three years, Jacky is especially comfortable providing services to clients from East Asian backgrounds. He speaks native Cantonese, fluent Mandarin, and English, enabling him to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
