Frequently Asked Questions

Does NDIS cover psychology sessions?
Yes. Psychology is funded under NDIS Capacity Building supports. If your NDIS plan includes Improved Daily Living, you can access psychology sessions at Reliance Care and Support. We are a registered NDIS provider in Truganina with psychologists experienced in autism, ADHD, and developmental assessments.
Can I get bulk billing for a psychologist in Truganina?
Yes. We offer bulk-billed psychology sessions with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. Your GP can refer you for up to 10 Medicare-subsidised sessions per calendar year. Contact us to check availability for bulk-billed appointments.
What is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?
A psychologist provides therapy, behavioural support, and psychological assessments. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. At Reliance Care and Support, our psychologists provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, trauma, and behavioural challenges.
Do you provide ADHD and autism assessments?
Yes. Our registered psychologists conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for children and adults. These assessments can support NDIS access requests, school funding applications, and guide treatment planning. We also provide ongoing therapy and behavioural support following diagnosis.
How do I book a psychologist near Deer Park or Melton?
You can book a psychology appointment at our Truganina clinic by calling 03 9958 6699 or using our online booking form. We serve residents from Deer Park, Melton, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, and surrounding suburbs. NDIS participants can self-refer directly.
