TRAVEL/TRANSPORT

The world is waiting for you. You should be able to join the community on your terms, no matter who you are. That’s why we here at Reliance Care offer our support to those in the NDIS who are having trouble gaining access to public transportation by providing NDIS transport assistance.

Using public transportation can be challenging, and you’re not alone in that. Taxis, rideshares, and other modes of transportation are all within the NDIS and the assistance of Reliance Care.Reliance Care staff will be there beside you to ensure your safety while using these modes of transportation, and they will offer kind assistance as you work towards greater freedom.

Transportation assistance includes instruction in independent travel as well as the provision of relevant aids and tools. Our NDIS transportation services facilitate participation in civic, social, economic, and daily life by providing taxis and other forms of specialized transportation.

The disability support workers on the Reliance Care team can help NDIS participants with travel arrangements if they qualify. Our programs are designed to give you more freedom to pursue interests outside the home and to carry out routine activities like grocery shopping and doctor’s visits.

We’re here to support you as you seek out a better, more flexible way of life. As long as you have our private transportation crew behind you, there is no place you can’t go or thing you can’t do. The choice is entirely yours.

The transportation services provided by Reliance Care emphasize professionalism and emotional support. You may rest assured that you won’t miss the bus since we plan. When you sign up for the NDIS, you’ll have access to our transportation and travel assistance services, which can help you get where you need to go and learn to live independently.

  • Institution for learning, such as a college or university
  • Work
  • Visits to the doctor or other healthcare professionals
  • Stop by your neighborhood shopping centre
  • Within the Local Area

In this way, as an NDIS transport provider, we facilitate the independence of people with physical disabilities by providing them with means of access, such as alternative modes of transportation.

Independent travel:

We offer choices that can assist you in locating appropriate modes of transportation, such as taxis, ridesharing, and public transportation. This is covered by the NDIS’s transportation budget.

Aid for Travelers:

If you need transportation to and from medical or other appointments, social outings, or errands around town, Reliance Care can provide a driver and companion. All travel time and gas money for the attendant’s commute to and from your home is factored into the hourly rate.

Improve Mobility and Freedom of Movement by Being More Independent:

Reliance Care’s DIS travel services for the disabled are designed to promote self-sufficiency among our participants. Many of our participants have also taken advantage of our travel and transportation management classes. We aid our participants in figuring out whether or not they qualify for financial aid to cover the costs of capacity-building activities like learning to use public transportation or taking driving lessons.

Vehicle Improvements:

Once our participants have completed the necessary training, having their car is the next logical step. At this point, our members make adjustments to their vehicles to make driving more comfortable for them.

Our transport support staff is well-versed in assisting those with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the wider community. Our entire team is qualified to work with the NDIS, having all passed the necessary employment requirements, and has extensive experience helping people gain mobility and independence.

You can begin using Reliance Care if you’d like increased mobility and improved access to transportation.
